WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, our private bridal consultations are by appointment only. This allows you and your guests to enjoy exclusive access to our luxurious boutique. You can use our online bookings system to schedule your appointment or contact us on info@theone.ie

What are your opening hours?

We work around you! Offering late evening and Saturday/Sunday appointments. Whatever works for you, works for us.

How far in advance should I look for my dress?

We would advise that you begin searching for 'The One' nine to twelve months to your wedding. The production time for our dresses is six months. It is important to remember time for shipping and potential alterations so we would advise you leave yourself the comfort of a few weeks on top of this.

How many people can i bring to my appointment?

Our intimate shopping space has seating for two of those closest to you. We want this bridal experience to be all about you! If you would like to bring more than two guests do let us know.

What are your sample sizes?

Our samples at The One range between UK 10-12. However, it is important to note that sizing varies depending on the designer. Our dresses are made-to-measure and made-to-order again depending on the designer. Our bridal stylist will go through sizing with you during your appointment.

What is your price range?

Our prices range from 1,800 euro to 8,800 euro. Please contact us should you want specific pricing prior to your appointment.

What is the process once I find The One?

At this stage we would take your measurements based on your dress being made-to-measure or made-to-order.

We require a 50% deposit to place your order. We will see you back for your first fitting once your dress arrives at The One, You will then consult a seamstress to perfect the fit.

Do you offer and include alterations?

We do not offer in-house alterations. This is a separate cost to the purchase of your dress. We can however point you in the right direction. We recommend Anna O alterations who is located just 5 minutes from us in Harolds Cross. With ample experience in the bridal industry she will perfect the fit of your dream dress.

Please note: We are not in a contractual agreement with any seamstress and you are free to use who you wish.

Made-to-measure VS made-to-order

Made-to-measure means the dress is specifically made for your body measurements. It is bespoke sizing.

Please note: You may still need minimal alteration once the dress arrives.

Made-to-order means your measurements are taken and based on these we will order the size closest. Once the dress arrives you will then consult a seamstress to perfect the fit.

My friend is also engaged and looking for 'The One', how can I ensure we don't try on the same dress?

If you are aware that a friend or acquaintance has recently purchased a dress at The One, please contact the store prior to your appointment. We endeavour to ensure that your dress is unique and special for you on your day.

I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment

That is no problem. While it is understandable that many cancellations are circumstantial and unavoidable, we are dedicated in ensuring as many brides as possible are accommodated. For this reason we ask you to contact us at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment time.

We also require 24 hours notice for altering an appointment time. This can be carried out via email.

Returns and exchanges

Once you have placed the order for your dress, you are in a contractual agreement to follow through with your purchase. Due to the made-to-measure and made-to-order nature of our dresses and accessories we cannot offer an exchange or refund.
